Donos de VE's com dificuldade em encontrar postos de carga em San Diego nos EUA. (San Diego Nissan LEAF Owner Has Difficulty Finding A Place To Charge)

"San Diego resident Donna Dipaolo registered with Nissan Motor Co., to purchase a Nissan LEAF vehicle back in January, 2010. Dipaolo reserved a vehicle a year ago. In January 2011, Donna got the chance to finally order her LEAF and about a week ago, she received her red 2011 Nissan LEAF. Eve though Donna has only had her Nissan LEAF for about a week, she has been already having issues trying to find a place to charge it
Diapolo lives within walking distance from her place of employment in San Diego City College. She isn’t a heavy driver and typically drives a little over 2,000 miles annually. After having her vehicle for a week, it was still running on its initial charge from the car dealership. The battery gauge showed that she could drive for another 50 miles before fully running out of electricity. Having 50 miles left is not an issue for the typical EV owner with easy access to charging stations, unfortunately Donna is not one of those owners.
ECOtality partnered with SDG&E to install charging stations, called Blinks, around San Diego, but Donna has been unable to find one near her home.
Donna looked at a map on the ECOtality website that told her there was a charging station at the Wells Fargo Bank in downtown San Diego. However, when she arrived at that location, the employees had no idea what she was talking about. She then returned home to check the map again and it had been taken down.
After receiving a bunch of complaints, a rep for Blinks said a number of charging stations would be delivered in May and June.
The other issue that Donna has been dealing with stems from the fact that she lives in a condo. Donna has to persuade her homeowners’ association to install a designated electrical circuit in the parking garage so she can use her charging station. Installing the circuit would run Donna approximately $7,000.
No new product is immune to having some issues or problems. Donna never said she didn’t like the LEAF, if anything installing the circuit wold be an investment since it would make things a lot more convenient for her."

Americanice!
Então alguém no seu perfeito juízo compra um EV sem antes precaver um ponto garantido de carga?
Neste momento até já deve estar a ver quem há-de processar...

E tenho é pena do carrito, mal empregado, assim sem carga.
