"This weekend sees Silverstone host the UK round of the GT1 World Championship - the world's top sports car race series.
Sumo Power and JRM Racing are the only British teams in a field of 10, with 20 cars and 40 of the world's leading drivers.
To celebrate this weekend's action and the recent changes to the Northamptonshire circuit, Michael Krumm, the 41-year old German driver for the JRM team, took Autoblog for a spin around the track in the 2011 Car of The Year, the Nissan Leaf.
How did a racing driver more used to over 500bhp get on with the 108bhp, all-electric Leaf round the circuit?
