Que fazer se um VE carregado ocupar um posto de carga?

Os ingleses estão a desenvolver um sistema de alerta para os utilizadores de postos de carga ocupados:

"Something which has cropped up here on Leaf Talk recently is what do we EV drivers do if we turn up at a charging station only to find it occupied by another EV? It might be that the it has stopped charging because it is fully charged but you have no idea how long the driver will be before they return.

We have launched a new free service to try to help EV drivers in this situation. It is called Charge Bay Alert!

Take a look at http://www.chargebayalert.co.uk

The idea is that EV drivers register on the web site with their car registration and mobile number. We then send you a small, unobtrusive window sticker to show you are registered. Now if you are registered, and the car in the bay is also registered, then you can send the reg of the car in a text message to us using a short dial number and we will then send a text to the driver informing them that someone is waiting at the charge station. They can then return and vacate the bay so you can charge.

Clearly this relies on both cars being registered and cooperative but... it is free to register and free to use so there is little reason not to sign up.

Only if you got some benefit from using the service do we ask that you pay anything and even then it is entirely up to you what you pay... if at all! 50p-£1 covers our costs and the costs of the texts or, if the driver didn't return at all, then just pay nothing!

Payment is made through an "Honesty Box" on the web site and so you are not charged up front, you will not be billed and you will only pay what you feel the service is worth to you. Novel eh! The likes of POLAR et al could learn a thing or two from that.

So, why not sign up and you never know... one day you might want to get in touch with the driver of that car hogging the charge bay and Charge Bay Alert! might save you having a long wait!..."

É exactamente isto que temos de fazer cá em Portugal; Não precisamos de inventar nada vamos copiar já. 8-)
